The Role :

The Visual Arts Technician provides hands-on, practical supportto the Arts Department, helping to create a well-organised,inspiring, and functional learning environment for students andstaff.

This is more than managing resources. It's about creatingspace for imagination, beauty, and growth — and being part ofa mission that shapes hearts and minds through every brushstrokeand project.

What You'll Do :

  • Storeroom and classroom organisation.
  • Researching new products and techniques.
  • Submitting and delivering artworks for externalexhibitions.
  • Material equipment preparation in classrooms prior tolessons.
  • Photographing and documenting student artwork.
  • Materials maintenance and repair.
  • Loading and booking maintenance of kiln.

What We're Looking For :

A background in any form of Visual Art making.Experience in ordering and handling art materials,exhibition planning and preparation, set-up and clean-up ofmaterials in the classroom, storing and cataloguing of artworkas well as storeroom and classroom organisation.An ability to think creatively, problem solve and suggestnew ideas, approaches to support the arts department.To have a personal commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ andbe an active member of a Christian Church.Proven ability to show initiative and take direction.A basic understanding of painting, drawing and ceramicmaterials an advantage.
