Job Title: Direct Support Worker

CPL is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Worker to join our team. As a Direct Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live independently and participate fully in their communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with disabilities, including assistance with daily living activities, medication administration, and mobility.
  • Assist with domestic duties, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Support individuals to engage in community activities, such as attending appointments, shopping, and social events.
  • Work collaboratively with the support team to develop and implement individualized support plans.
Requirements:
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
  • A Blue Card (Working with Children Card).
  • An NDIS Worker Screening Check (Working with Individuals with Disabilities, formerly a Yellow Card).
  • Driver's License and vehicle.
  • Commitment to infection prevention and control measures, including the use of PPE as directed.
  • A smartphone with an iOS 13.0 and up operating system or an Android 6.0 and up operating system.
