This is an exciting opportunity to join the NSW Department of Communities and Justice as an Aboriginal Service Support Specialist. In this role, you will be working with vulnerable Aboriginal individuals and families in targeted locations, providing tailored support and services to meet their unique needs.
Key Responsibilities- Work within a team to deliver support services to Aboriginal individuals and families, under the direction of the Place Manager.
- Establish trust with clients and work with them to identify and respond to their individual and family needs.
- Review and improve individual practice to ensure compliance with program guidelines and identify opportunities for development.
- Work with other team members to identify and respond to local risks and opportunities impacting on the program and/or region.
- Participate in governance and training to build and maintain skills and capabilities.
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders across service providers and the AHO.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
