About the Role


The Crisis Assessment and Treatment team at Alfred Health is seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our dynamic team.


Key Responsibilities:



  • To provide timely and effective crisis assessment, intervention, and treatment services to individuals in need
  • To work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients
  • To participate in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
  • To contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practice in crisis assessment and management

Requirements:



  • Approved tertiary qualifications in Nursing or Psychology
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working in an acute community mental health setting, with a focus on crisis assessment and management
  • Demonstrated expertise in drug and alcohol rehabilitation and experience working with diverse client groups
