About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and adaptable Community Relations Officer to join our team in Orange on a 12-month fixed term contract.

This role will see you perform a range of duties in support of important community engagement initiatives and the Director, External Engagement. These will include diary management, CRM database management, event coordination, travel administration, and being the first point of contact for external and internal customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Director, External Engagement and the Community Relations team.
  • Manage the diary and schedule of the Director, External Engagement and the Community Relations team.
  • Coordinate events and activities to support community engagement initiatives.
  • Manage the CRM database and ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and be the first point of contact for external and internal customers and stakeholders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be highly organized, adaptable, and a great communicator. You will have previous administrative experience and be comfortable liaising with stakeholders at all levels. A passion for your local community is critical.

Previous experience in a Community Relations role is not essential for consideration.
