Community Support Worker - Bathurst

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team in Bathurst. As a Community Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing psycho-social support services to individuals with mental health and addiction issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide person-centered support services to clients, focusing on empowerment, hope, and recovery.
  • Liaise with customers, families, and community mental health staff to achieve clinical goals.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers, families, and stakeholders.
  • Complete comprehensive risk management plans and observe customer behaviors, needs, and interactions.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with people with mental health and addiction issues.
  • Knowledge of mental illness and recovery-oriented approaches.
  • Technical literacy with Microsoft Office and reporting systems.
  • Minimum Cert IV in Mental Health or related studies.
  • Availability to work a rotating roster and valid NSW Drivers C class licence.
