Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Specialist to join our team at Richemont. As an Accounts Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions, as well as providing exceptional support to our procurement and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and reconcile vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner
  • Verify and validate vendor information, including registration in SAP
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation of financial transactions
  • Reconcile vendor statements of accounts (SOA) and identify any discrepancies
  • Validate Concur expense claims to ensure compliance with company policies
  • Coordinate petty cash reports and ensure accurate and timely processing
  • Process intercompany recharge and repair invoices
  • Investigate and resolve system interface errors
  • Prepare intercompany payments via netting
  • Clear balance sheet suspense accounts promptly
  • Prepare open POs without IR reports and follow up with buyers on outstanding invoices
  • Accrue VIM transactions pending approval and approved after the end of the month
  • Accrue Goods-In-Transit
  • Perform intercompany reconciliation and reporting
  • Act as a contact point for resolving issues related to POs, VIMs, vendor workflow, and Concur
  • Conduct regular training sessions on POs, vendor workflow, and Concur for staff and new joiners
Requirements
  • Recognized degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent professional accounting qualification
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an MNC or large accounting firm
  • Strong accounting knowledge and problem-solving skills
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Excel and able to automate templates to improve efficiency
  • Good presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines in a high-volume and fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of accounting software/EPR systems, such as SAP, is a plus
