Geological Expert - Norseman Gold Project

Pantoro’s Norseman Gold Project is a fully operational gold mining operation, boasting a >1 million tonne per annum processing plant and two high-grade underground mines. We are seeking an experienced Geological Expert to join our exploration team.

This key role will be responsible for providing geological support to exploration, mining, and production activities. The successful candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Bachelor of Applied Science (BAppSc) majoring in geology.
  • 2+ years of experience in exploration roles, with gold experience preferred.
  • A manual driver's license.
  • A national police clearance.

The selected candidate will work closely with the exploration team to develop and execute geological programs. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Supervising surface drilling programs, logging drill chips and diamond drill core, and monitoring core quality and contractor performance.
  2. Compiling and distributing daily, weekly, and monthly reports accurately and within time frames.
  3. Conducting surface geological mapping, sampling, and compilation of plans.
  4. Designing project exploration programs using geophysical, geochemical, drilling, and other techniques.
  5. Geological interpretation, including updating existing models and creating new wireframes.
  6. Incorporating all available geological data to inform interpretations.
  7. Maintaining safety, technical quality, and protocols during exploration programs.
