RMIT University invites applications for the position of Research Fellow in the School of Science.
About the Role
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced researcher to contribute to advancing the field of science and mathematics at RMIT.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality research projects that align with the University's research focus areas.
- Embed research expertise into the life of the School through the development of research networks and partnerships.
- Engage in high-quality research projects, attract research funding, and produce high-quality outputs.
Key Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated capability in lipid nanoparticles formulation and physicochemical characterisation techniques.
- Evidence of experience in performing mammalian cell culture and studying cell-nanoparticle interactions.
- Experience in studying cell-nanoparticle interactions under dynamic flow conditions is preferred but not required.
- Emerging track record and recognition for quality research outputs.
- Demonstrated experience in paper writing and ability to independently form high-quality paper drafts.
- Demonstrated strong communication skills.
- Able to work autonomously while displaying a strong commitment to working in a team environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage varying workloads and respond to changing priorities.
- Qualifications: PhD or equivalent in a relevant field.
