Medical Device Manufacturing Specialist

Anteris Technologies is seeking an experienced Medical Device Manufacturing Specialist to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Western Australia. As an integral member of our company, you will actively participate in the manufacture of biological medical devices in accordance with tissue production procedures and quality policies.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Carry out general production activities pertaining to the manufacture of medical devices within a cleanroom area.
  • Process incoming raw tissue, reagent treat processed tissue, perform media changes, and drape and crosslink tissue.
  • Cut tissue to size, measure cut tissue thickness, clean cut tissue (removal of collagen fibres), and terminally sterilise tissue sizes.
  • Assist with manufacture support duties as required, including receipt of materials, cleaning down and passing in of stock, cleaning reusable items, and coordinating waste removal.
Quality Assurance:
  • Assist with labelling and storage of material.
  • Participate in internal and external audits as required.
Training and Development:
  • Complete Good Manufacturing Practices training at least once annually.
  • Complete all required training for assigned duties.
  • Maintain updated training documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of general laboratory practices.
  • Excellent eye for detail and fine motor skills.
  • Prior experience working in small multi-disciplinary teams (desirable).
  • Proficient in Microsoft computer software (e.g., MS Office).
  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Administrative competencies and attention to detail.
