Accounts Payable Leadership Role

This organisation is seeking a motivated and experienced professional to lead its Accounts Payable team.

Job Description:
  • The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the end-to-end Accounts Payable functions, including 3-way matching, payment runs, and reconciliations.
  • They will also be responsible for building strong relationships with local and international suppliers to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • In addition, they will ensure compliance with internal controls, GST requirements, and manufacturing-specific procurement policies.
  • Furthermore, they will drive process improvements and automation initiatives to support operational efficiency.
  • Lastly, they will partner with supply chain, procurement, and finance teams to support production continuity and cost controls.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience in Accounts Payable, including 2+ years in a leadership or senior role. They will also possess strong knowledge of end-to-end AP processes, intermediate Excel skills, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
