Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Welding Instructor to deliver hands-on, accredited training to adult learners in a correctional setting.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a correctional environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver practical and theoretical welding instruction in line with industry standards and safety protocols.
  • Support learners to develop technical skills in MIG, TIG, and arc welding, as well as fabrication and workshop safety.
  • Assess student progress and maintain accurate training records.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that supports diverse learner needs and backgrounds.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40110 / TAE40116 / TAE40122) OR willingness to enrol.
  • Relevant Welding qualifications and industry experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a correctional environment.
