About the Role

We are seeking experienced and compassionate individuals to fill Casual positions as Community Support Workers within our team. As a key member of our staff, you will work closely with consumers, their families, and other health professionals to provide quality outcomes and maintain consumer independence.

As a Caregiver Assistant in our Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network, you will be providing direct client service to persons who are aged, frail, or disabled and wish to remain living in their own home with some assistance.

Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with consumers, their families, and other health professionals to deliver person-centered care
  • Provide support with daily living activities, ensuring consumers maintain their independence and dignity
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with consumers, their families, and colleagues
  • Contribute to a safe and inclusive environment by promoting respectful communication and empathy

  • Meet deadlines and timeframes while maintaining confidentiality

Eligibility

To be eligible for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
