Primary Aged Kids Program Lead

We are excited to offer the ECEC Worker Retention Grant, providing an extra 10% on top of your hourly rate. This is a unique opportunity for you to contribute to creating a safe and engaging environment for children.

You will design and maintain an engaging, safe, and compliant program, planning exciting daily activities for primary-aged kids. You will also prepare and serve delicious, healthy snacks, and build meaningful relationships with children, families, and the local community.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has an enthusiastic and engaging approach to childcare with strong relationship-building skills
  • Completed or working towards a childcare-related Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain)
  • Availability from 6:30 am - 9:00 am and 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday
  • Valid Child Protection training Certificate and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Fulfills the requirements of a full-time position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain an engaging, safe, and compliant program for primary-aged kids
  • Prepare and serve healthy snacks
  • Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and the local community
