About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team in Wollongong. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, promoting healthy eating habits and independence.
  • Provide social support and transport to lifestyle activities, fostering meaningful connections and a sense of community.

Requirements
  • You must be a caring and empathetic individual, committed to assisting our aged community.
  • You will need a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, as travel is an essential part of this role.
  • You should be able to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, prioritizing the needs of our customers and colleagues.
  • You must be available to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend shifts.
  • You will be comfortable working independently, finding solutions to everyday problems, and seeking support from your Manager when needed.
