The role of Senior Estimator is crucial in supporting cost management and estimating services across various projects.

Main Responsibilities
  • First-principles reviews of contractor open-book cost estimates to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Validating methodology, risk & opportunity, and schedule against client requirements for effective project delivery

Negotiating cost adjustments and providing recommendations for contractor awards are also critical aspects of the job.

Key Deliverables
  • Developing Class 5 to Class 2 cost estimates using first-principles pricing and benchmarking techniques

Interpreting specifications and standards to assess cost implications is a key responsibility.

Tender Preparation and Handover
  • Assessing subcontractor and supplier quotations as required
  • Delivering high-quality tender handovers, including Basis of Estimates documentation for transparency and clarity

The successful candidate will contribute to continuous improvement of estimating practices and tools, collaborating with internal teams, client stakeholders, and delivery partners to achieve project success.
