**Job Overview**

This role is a critical part of our team, responsible for managing project costs and ensuring timely delivery.

We are seeking a skilled Project Cost Specialist to join our team in Adelaide. The successful candidate will have experience in financial operations and reporting, with a strong focus on cost management.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying requirements, allocating budgets, and producing documents to manage the cost and schedule performance of project activities and tasks.

You will work closely with the project team to ensure that all aspects of the project are well-managed, including schedules, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and tasks.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Collaborate with the project team to identify and schedule resources required to implement the project.

- Identify requirements, allocate budgets, and produce documents to manage the cost and schedule performance of project activities and tasks.

- Provide monthly performance reports of schedules, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and tasks.

Requirements

- Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Commonwealth Defence Security Clearance.

- Significant experience in a similar role within the defence environment.

- Experience with Deltek Cobra Software and cost management knowledge.

- Ability to report on projects using Earned Value Analysis techniques.

- Advanced Excel skills, familiarity with scheduling software packages (P6, OPP, MSP).
