Job Role:

We are seeking a seasoned construction professional to take on the role of Cost Manager. The successful candidate will play a critical role in overseeing project expenditures and ensuring cost-effective outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement and management of subcontracts, including contract variations and payments;
  • Assisting with the preparation of contract documentation;
  • Collaborating closely with multiple construction teams;
  • Providing input to the monthly project cost reporting process;
  • Verifying incurred costs of materials, contracts, and labor;
  • Ensuring timely appointment of contractors and suppliers in line with the procurement schedule;
  • Coordinating materials take-offs and ordering materials to meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications in construction management or a related field;
  • At least 2 years of experience in construction management;
  • Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels;
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work effectively, interfacing with multiple stakeholders;
  • Detailed analytical thinking.
