Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Taxation Specialist to join our corporate advisory team. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert advice on taxation matters to our clients.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing taxation services to corporate clients, including income tax compliance and preparation of tax returns.
  • Delivering high-quality tax advisory services tailored to client needs, while supporting senior team members in complex tax engagements.
  • Collaborating with our specialist teams in bringing expertise to our clients, including international tax and transfer pricing, tax controversy, and transactions.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members, fostering their career development, and contributing to a positive team culture that promotes high performance and collaboration.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Detailed knowledge and experience with the Australian taxation system, acquired through work in a professional services firm or a comparable industry role.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in leading direct engagements with clients on substantive tax matters.
  • A CA qualification or equivalent, or have completed other postgraduate studies (e.g., Tax Masters), with technical knowledge of IFRS and Tax Accounting considered an advantage.
