Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stores Officer to join our team. As a Stores Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating and controlling the receipt and delivery of parts, allocating parts to Work Orders and Sales Orders, maintaining accurate records and traceability of parts, and maintaining the store in a neat and safe manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and control the receipt and delivery of parts
  • Allocate parts to Work Orders and Sales Orders
  • Maintain accurate records and traceability of parts
  • Maintain the store in a neat and safe manner
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of aircraft maintenance activities
  • Manage inventory levels and perform stocktakes and cycle counts
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years of warehousing experience
  • Proven experience in receipt, dispatch, and stockkeeping
  • High attention to detail with demonstrated experience maintaining records and supply chain traceability
  • Demonstrated experience in the handling of dangerous goods and hold a Dangerous Goods Air Acceptance certificate (or ability to obtain)
  • Experience in the management of component repair orders and calibrated tooling would be advantageous
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work at a high level with workshop managers as well as external clients in a busy environment with strict deadlines
  • Hold a current drivers and forklift licence
  • Proven strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and experience working with inventory management, purchasing, and warehousing software packages
