Mortgage Loan Originator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Mortgage Loan Originator to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for originating mortgage loans and building strong relationships with clients.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Create and manage client relationships through excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Analyze client financial information and recommend mortgage loan options
  • Counsel clients on mortgage loan terms and conditions
  • Promote cross-sell and up-sell opportunities to enhance revenue growth
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless loan processing and underwriting
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, market trends, and regulatory changes
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in mortgage lending or related field
  • Strong understanding of mortgage products and services
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for sales and customer service
  • Knowledge of credit analysis, risk assessment, and compliance regulations
  • Fluent in English language and basic math skills
