Project Operations Director Role

Lead the execution and performance of a project portfolio, ensuring timely delivery to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.

  • Oversee high-performing teams in delivering large-scale communications projects, aligning with business objectives and client needs.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Delivery: End-to-end oversight of electronic and IT communications systems design, commissioning, and installation in healthcare environments, ensuring timely, quality, and cost-effective delivery.
  • Commercial Focus: Identify opportunities to maximise efficiency and profitability through effective resource allocation and timeline management.
  • Performance Management: Implement metrics to track and evaluate team and project performance, driving a culture of accountability and success.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify and implement process enhancements to improve project delivery, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Client Engagement: Act as an escalation point and key contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Risk and Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols.
  • Innovation and Growth: Stay ahead of market trends and emerging technologies to position the organisation as a leader in the healthcare communications sector.
  • Represent Regional Interests: Be the voice of regional teams in national forums, sharing insights and aligning delivery with business goals.
  • Champion Governance & Quality: Ensure alignment to organisational delivery frameworks, quality standards, and safety practices.
