About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Accountant to assume key accounting responsibilities.


This position involves completing monthly accounting duties, including preparation and recording of journal entries, maintenance of the general ledger, preparation of reconciliations, preparation of year-end tax packages, and special projects as required.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger accounts.
  • Coordinate work efforts with National Shared Services and prepare supporting documentation for SOX binders.
  • Prepare initial income and balance sheet variance analysis for review by division finance leaders.
  • Assist with the preparation of internal financial reports, cash flow projections, and forecasts.
  • Prepare year-end tax package and various financial reports.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting (or equivalent in related field).


  • Minimum 2 years general accounting or finance experience.
  • Detailed knowledge of accounting theory and practice.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under time pressure.
