You will manage complex social housing services and supervise officers delivering direct services to customers in person, by telephone, correspondence, in the field and through outreach services.

  • Approve high and very high need social housing applications and quality assure application assessments.
  • Develop effective relationships with stakeholders to improve customer outcomes and processes and manage formal complaints.
  • Represent the department in appeals and attend the Civil Tribunal.
  • Supervise team activities, including monitoring performance, workload management and addressing operational issues.
  • Manage properties, conducting condition appraisal inspections and providing maintenance advice.
  • Contribute to portfolio renewal plans and property developments.

This role requires regular field work, meeting with customers in their homes. Conditions are changeable and require varying degrees of vigilance and risk management.
