Job Title: Tax Policy and Controversy Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Tax Policy and Controversy Manager. As a key member of our tax department, you will be responsible for advising clients on a wide range of tax matters, with a focus on technical and tactical management of all things tax.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Actively engage in resolving complex tax disputes, including alternative dispute resolution, and support clients in responding to reviews and audits.
  • Assist clients in navigating engagement with revenue authorities, including settlement discussions and negotiations.
  • Research tax law and tax administration issues.
  • Draft high-quality advice, objections, private binding ruling requests, requests for amended assessments and penalty submissions.
  • Advise a range of clients, from large corporates to high-net-worth individuals, helping them develop and document their tax corporate governance processes and test the operational effectiveness of their tax corporate governance framework.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Law Degree
  • Admitted to practice
  • Tax technical skills or ability to acquire
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional client service
  • Ability to work with multiple clients and internal stakeholders on tight deadlines
