Senior Method Development Scientist

Agilex Biolabs, a leading bioanalytical and toxicology laboratory, seeks a highly skilled Senior Method Development Scientist to lead the development and transfer of complex ligand binding assays. As a key member of our Immunoassay Laboratory team, you will provide high-level analytical and scientific support, driving forward our laboratory's capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and transfer complex ligand binding assays, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality standards.
- Provide technical leadership and troubleshooting, driving investigations and providing expert solutions to resolve analytical challenges.
- Author and review Analytical Laboratory Methods (ALMs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Manage multiple projects and workloads efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and optimal productivity.
- Assist in mentoring junior staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented laboratory environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline (minimum) or 8+ years of direct experience in the development of complex ligand binding assays in a bioanalytical setting.
- Minimum 4 years of direct experience in analytical method development, particularly for ligand binding assays in a bioanalytical setting.
- Experience in a regulated (GLP and GCP) bioanalytical laboratory setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in English, adept at conveying complex scientific information clearly and accurately to a wide variety of audiences.
