Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Scientist to lead the development and transfer of complex ligand binding assays in our Immunoassay Laboratory. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-level analytical and scientific support, drive forward our laboratory's capabilities, and contribute to the success of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assay Development and Method Transfer: Lead the development and transfer of complex ligand binding assays, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality standards.
  • Client and Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary technical contact for external clients, providing project updates and addressing scientific concerns professionally.
  • Technical Leadership and Troubleshooting: Drive technical investigations and provide expert solutions to resolve analytical challenges.
  • Documentation and Review: Author and review Analytical Laboratory Methods (ALMs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Workload and Project Management: Manage multiple projects and workloads efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and optimal productivity.
  • Mentorship and Training: Assist in mentoring junior staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented laboratory environment.
  • Scientific Input: Provide scientific insights into assay development, troubleshooting, and regulatory guidance incorporation.
  • Project Review: Participate in the review and analysis of new projects, offering expert recommendations and insights.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline (minimum) or 8+ years of direct experience in the development of complex ligand binding assays in a bioanalytical setting.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years (with bachelors) of direct experience in analytical method development, particularly for ligand binding assays in a bioanalytical setting.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical skills, proficiency in managing client relationships, and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
