You will work across diverse client groups—early intervention, school-aged, adolescents, and adults—with a wide range of presentations and diagnoses.

About the Role

This position offers the opportunity to support NDIS participants with complex communication needs (including high-tech AAC) and swallowing difficulties, as well as those experiencing complex behaviours, mental health challenges, complex trauma, and backgrounds of vulnerability.

As a Speech Pathologist at our organisation, you will:

  • Work across diverse settings, including family homes, schools, disability group homes, day programs, preschools, community settings, telehealth, and our offices.
  • Build lasting relationships with your clients, enhancing their communication, independence, and celebrating their achievements.
  • Be a skilled generalist or focus into Early Childhood Services, Positive Behaviour Support, or speech pathology clinical areas within your caseload.
  • Be a pivotal member of your site's multidisciplinary team (MDT).
Key Qualifications and Experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology.
  • Registration with SPA.
  • Experience working with NDIS participants in a clinical or community setting (desired).
  • A car and driver's licence.
  • A National Police Clearance, Working with Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or able to acquire one for client-facing roles (or the willingness to obtain one before commencement).
What We Offer

We understand how important it is to maintain balance in your life. That's why we offer:

Flexible Work Arrangements
  • A flexible hybrid model: work from home, our offices, or the community—it's up to you.
  • Control over your schedule: book your appointments to suit your lifestyle.
  • Options for part-time work, reduced hours, or even a 9-day fortnight (after probation).
A Career That Grows With You

Our organisation prioritises your development, helping our clients achieve their goals through:

  • Tailored career pathways: focused clinical skill development in dysphagia management, AAC prescription and implementation, mental health, autism and neuro-affirming practice, early intervention, and trauma-informed approaches— or explore other disciplines like Positive Behaviour Support or Early Childhood Services.
  • Ongoing learning: access internal professional development, interdisciplinary training, and Special Interest Groups.
  • A dedicated Speech Pathologist Manager to help you create and achieve your individualised growth plan.
  • Leadership opportunities: support student units or grow into team leader roles or explore regional and interstate secondments.
