Central Coast, Australia Ability Action Australia Full time
Overview

Ability Action Australia is one of the largest providers to the NDIS, supporting over 10,000 participants each year with the care they need, when and where it is needed. We work with a multidisciplinary team to build a quality support service around the needs and goals of participants and their families. We welcome Speech Pathologists of all experience levels who enjoy the flexibility of working in a range of settings including clinics and community environments.

We are expanding our Speech Pathology team and welcome experienced and dynamic Speech Pathologists eager to be part of a multidisciplinary team and make a difference. Successful candidates will be providing supports to cover NDIS participants living in the Newcastle, Port Stephens, Maitland and surrounding areas. Our team assists individuals of all ages and abilities to achieve their goals. We strive to provide a caseload that matches your experience and interests. We have mixed caseloads across early intervention (infants 0-12 months; feeding, early language, parent coaching), paediatrics, adolescents, adults, dysphagia, communication difficulties and AAC. You can gain experience across all clinical areas across the lifespan. We support your career progression with clinical and operational pathways.

We are a diverse and passionate Speech Pathology team, supported regionally by a large team of speech pathologists and connected with access to professional development within a national team. We value collaboration within the multidisciplinary team and participants' key stakeholders and are committed to clinically excellent, neuroaffirming practices that help our team members and participants get more out of life, today. Our work takes place in childcare centres, schools, homes, and/or our clinic spaces and outreach locations as part of the AAA Adventurer Program. We are a team with varied experience levels who enjoy coffee, memes, and our monthly meetings, well-being check-ins and upskilling in clinical areas. We have regular online meetings so wherever you live in the Hunter Region, you'll be part of a big team.
