About the Opportunity

The City of Victoria is seeking an Urban Planning Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating land development projects with outside agencies and other departments. You will provide input into neighbourhood and official community plans and maintain legal survey records. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced, progressive, and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate land development projects with outside agencies and other departments.
  2. Maintain legal survey records and prepare reports to ensure compliance with City specifications.
  3. Provide input into neighbourhood and official community plans.


Requirements

This position requires a Technical School Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology (2 years) and 5 years of related subdivision and legal surveying experience. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential. If you have a passion for urban planning and a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply.

Flexibility

The successful candidate will participate in a modified work week, earning a flex day off each bi-weekly period.
