People and Culture Leader

We are seeking a seasoned HR professional to lead our team and shape our workplace culture.
This is a strategic and operational role where you will provide expert guidance in areas such as workforce planning, organisational development, retention, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with HR policies and legislative requirements.
You will guide and influence people leaders and employees by providing timely and tailored HR advice and support across all facets of HR, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations and succession planning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing strategic and operational HR leadership to drive business outcomes and improve the employee experience.
- Developing and implementing effective HR strategies that align with organisational priorities.
- Guiding and coaching leaders on probationary and performance appraisal discussions, ensuring accurate and up-to-date HR records.
- Identifying workplace trends, risks and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure people and culture strategies align with organisational objectives.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Tertiary qualification or a combination of lesser formal qualifications with a minimum of 5 years experience as a HR Generalist.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, with the ability to provide tailored HR advice at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience managing and leading a team.
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to best-practice HR principles.
