Job Role:

A Child Protection Specialist is required to work with vulnerable children and their families.

This role involves receiving and assessing reports of alleged abuse and neglect, undertaking investigations, and developing plans to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Risk assessment and analysis: gathering information through various sources to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  2. Case planning review and case management: drawing insights from assessments to formulate effective case plans, reviewing progress, and coordinating with stakeholders.

Essential Skills:

The successful candidate will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also essential, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.

Australian citizenship or residency is required.
