Transformation Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Transformation Specialist to join our team on a 6-month contract with a possibility of extension.

This is a key role that will support the execution of transformation activities and deliverables for a Defence Account Uplift Program.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with Business Operations Manager and assigned Defence and National Security leads to develop and execute comprehensive transformation plans.
  • Conducting impact analyses to identify potential risks and challenges associated with proposed changes.
  • Designing and delivering engaging training programs and communication materials to support stakeholder understanding and adoption of new tools and processes.
  • Proactively identifying and managing resistance to change, addressing concerns and providing ongoing support to stakeholders.
  • Collaborating closely with project teams, business leaders, and end-users to ensure seamless implementation and adoption of digital solutions supporting a new operating model.
  • Tracking and measuring the effectiveness of transformation initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and reporting on progress to key stakeholders.

About You:

You will be a strong communicator with experience leading transformation initiatives within a complex Digital Transformation program.

Due to the nature of the work and business, you will need to be an Australian Citizen at the time of application to be eligible for this role.

You will also need:

  • At least 7 years' experience leading change projects; ideally in the digital transformation space, with proven experience leading change programs within MS Office 365.
  • A strong understanding of transformation methodologies (e.g. Prosci, ADKAR) and their practical application.
  • Strong influencing skills to seamlessly guide and support leaders through the transformation process.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, to effectively communicate transformation plans to stakeholders and facilitate training programs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues that arise during the transformation process.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
