Senior Water Projects Manager

We are seeking a Water Engineer to lead our water & wastewater projects.
- Manage major water & wastewater projects, including network modelling, project planning and coordination through initial inception to detailed design and construction phases
- Supervise and mentor junior staff
- Take a leading role as a technical advisor for the team
- Collaborate with other teams and offices to ensure an integrated design approach
- Provide specialist technical input to feasibility studies and conceptual designs
- Undertake construction cost estimates for budgeting purposes
- Prepare written reports and make technical presentations to clients and stakeholders
- Oversee the planning and design of project elements, preparation of reports, hydraulic models, design calculations, technical drawings, construction plans and specifications
- Coordinate with clients, sub-consultants, constructors, approval authorities, government agencies and the public to accomplish objectives
This is a key role within our engineering team. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills and experience in municipal water & wastewater infrastructure planning and project management.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Proven experience in municipal water & wastewater infrastructure planning and project management
- Must have experience in water and wastewater network modelling
- Proven leadership skills and demonstrated ability to manage diverse teams
- Demonstrated project management experience
- Capable of contributing to business development activities, pursuing new clients/projects
- Must have a proven track record of leading technical engineering teams and successfully managing water & wastewater projects
