Senior Structural Engineer - Oil & Gas

Wood Plc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Perth. As a key member of our Oil & Gas Operations team, you will be responsible for delivering brownfield engineering, procurement, construction, maintenance, optimization, and technical services to the Oil & Gas sector.

We are looking for a suitably qualified engineer with a degree from a recognized institution and proven experience in the Oil & Gas sector in Australia. You will have a strong understanding of API, AISC, and ISO design codes, as well as experience in the use of relevant software packages such as SACS and Staad Pro.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of relevant experience as a Structural Engineer in Oil & Gas, with a strong background in offshore site environments and site surveying/scoping. You will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers

Requirements:

  • Full Australian work rights and residency in Australia
  • 6+ years of relevant experience as a Structural Engineer in Oil & Gas
  • Strong understanding of API, AISC, and ISO design codes
  • Experience in the use of relevant software packages such as SACS and Staad Pro
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
