Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at Subsea 7. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership in the development of structural engineering solutions for our high-technology systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement structural engineering solutions for complex projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Provide technical support to the Tendering department, assisting in bid preparation and business plan development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution, including design, drafting, subcontracting, and procurement.
  • Stay up-to-date with new and novel techniques, applying innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
  • Ensure that all engineering work is carried out in accordance with the latest revisions of standards and specifications.
Requirements:
  • Recognized degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years' work experience in Offshore/Onshore Engineering.
  • Good knowledge of spool piece installation, flexible flowlines, tie-ins, subsea structures, riser installation, umbilicals, DPII construction vessels, Hyperbaric tie-ins, and pipelay experience.
  • Familiarity with technical software within the field and safety and quality policies within Subsea 7.
