Senior Structural Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Perth. As a key member of our Buildings team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from small to large-scale developments, and contribute to the design and delivery of iconic buildings across Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and deliver structural building projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Liaise with internal teams, architects, clients, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Prepare detailed designs, calculations, and documentation to support project concepts.
  • Execute project design, detailed calculations, documentation, and contract administration.
  • Attend project design meetings and site inspections to ensure project progress and quality.
  • Mentor junior staff members and contribute to the development of the Structural team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated structural design experience, preferably in engineering consultancy.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards.
  • Proficiency in structural software, including RAM Concept, SpaceGass, and ETABS.
  • Knowledge of building stability analysis and corresponding detailing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
