**Job Summary:**

This is a newly created role as a key member of a small, cohesive executive team. It involves the development of strategy associated with participant experience, quality, safeguards and compliance.

The successful candidate will assume responsibility for assessing and enhancing service excellence to ensure a wonderful experience for participants in Melba's programs. They will also be responsible for quality and safeguards, ensuring human rights are upheld within a zero tolerance environment.

Governance aspects of quality including oversight of an audit and compliance program will be a key part of this role, including personal outcomes measurements. Stakeholder interaction is critical for this role both within and outside of the organisation.

This role is key in maintaining and advancing Melba's culture of social justice and participant empowerment through interaction with operations staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop and implement strategies associated with participant experience, quality, safeguards and compliance
  • To assess and enhance service excellence
  • To assume responsibility for quality and safeguards, ensuring human rights are upheld within a zero tolerance environment
  • To oversee governance aspects of quality including audit and compliance programs
  • To interact with stakeholders both within and outside of the organisation
  • To contribute to maintaining and advancing Melba's culture of social justice and participant empowerment

Requirements:

  • Senior leadership experience in a service-related field
  • Able to contribute to strategy and add value to an executive team
  • Ambitious and seeking to develop career within a rapidly developing organisation
  • Prior experience working in disability services is desirable
