Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assisting with showering, dressing, grooming, and medication management.
  • Domestic Support: Providing light cleaning, laundry services, and meal preparation.
  • Social Engagement: Facilitating social activities, grocery shopping, and transportation to medical appointments.
  • Equipment Assistance: Aiding clients in the use of mobility aids and personal equipment such as wheelchairs and walking frames.
  • Complex Needs Support: Assisting clients with challenging requirements and monitoring their well-being.
  • Team Collaboration: Participating in staff meetings and attending necessary training sessions.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Criminal Record Check
  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination Status
  • Current First Aid Certificate/CPR
  • Valid Driver's Licence (Australian or International)
  • Reliable, registered, and comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Smartphone with internet access
  • Current Working with Vulnerable People Check (ACT only)
  • Minimum Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support, or Disability Services (preferred)
