Job Title: Home Care Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team at KinCare in Canberra South. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and domestic assistance to customers, including cleaning, meal preparation, and social support.
  • Assist customers with medication management, mobility, and therapy goals.
  • Provide respite and emotional support to customers and their families.
  • Transport customers to appointments and lifestyle activities.
  • Work collaboratively with the KinCare team to ensure high-quality care and support is provided to customers.
Requirements:
  • 6 months or more experience in a similar role, including experience with personal care.
  • Current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle.
  • Ability to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems.
  • Availability to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday.
