At Goodwin Aged Care Services, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Personal Carer to join our team. As a Personal Carer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive the highest level of care and support in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Providing domestic support, including cleaning and laundry
• Assisting with personal care, such as bathing and dressing
• Transporting clients to appointments and social events
• Shopping and meal preparation
• Administering medication
• Providing respite care and social support
• Other support tasks as required
Essential Qualifications:
• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care/Home & Community) or higher
• Australian Driver's Licence
• Motor vehicle with current registration and full comprehensive insurance
• Mobile phone with sufficient credit and data for work purposes
• Medication Skill Set (highly desirable)
• Experience in delivering care outcomes for older people
• Ability to work with limited supervision
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders
