HR Assistant Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our team. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to balance your work and personal life.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in HR or a similar role, with a good understanding of HR processes and practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcoming New Team Members & Supporting Exiting Team Members: Coordinate onboarding processes for new employees, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed, and manage the return of new employee documents.
  • Keep Things Organised: Maintain accurate employee records, assist with preparing HR documents, and ensure everything is up-to-date via various systems.
  • Making Things Better Together: Identify areas where our HR processes can be more efficient and effective, share ideas, and work collaboratively to implement enhancements and best practices.

You will be responsible for maintaining HR policies and procedures, associated soft files, and record keeping. You are the owner of the HR file where information is stored, and you must ensure it is logical and well managed.

You will possess excellent organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines, great communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for maintaining confidentiality and building positive relationships. Additionally, you will have familiarity with HRIS software and MS Office Suite (comfortable using MS Excel). A pro-active approach and ability to work independently as part of a team is also required.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in HR or a similar role.
