About the Role

The Senior Financial Director will be responsible for managing financial reporting and risk management across operations. The ideal candidate will develop and execute financial strategy and manage all financial control systems that preserve the assets and financial sustainability of the group.

  • Lead and develop the accounting function and systems capabilities, creating value through financial domain leadership.
  • Develop Group financial projections and forecasts for multi-state operational units.
  • Monitor and advise on new project financing and budget management to senior leaders and support the execution of business unit plans.
  • Manage financial reports and Group management accounting activity, as well as statutory external reporting obligations.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly and annual operating plans and financial plans.
  • Provide advice on how to increase revenue and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate and produce all tax documentation as required.
  • Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the Group's operations.
  • Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts.
  • Control and evaluate the Group's debt and/or capital raising plans and capital structure.

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a successful career in a similar role, ideally from within a multi-site and business unit operating model and be comfortable as a business partner providing financial decision support to location managers.

  • CA/CPA Qualified.
  • Tertiary degree in finance, business or commerce.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-entity operations across business unit entities and financial reporting structures.
  • Financial modelling current and future state investment opportunities to support growth opportunities.
  • Exposure to corporate finance transactions including the purchase and integration of operating assets or entities.
  • Lead a diverse team in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
