Senior Policy Specialist

A leading education provider is seeking an experienced policy analyst to contribute to the development of positions on tertiary education legislative frameworks and international education student visa policies.
This position offers the opportunity to work with a global network of professionals, shaping policy positions that impact the education sector.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in tertiary education complex regulatory environments, with knowledge of Australian tertiary education sector policies and emerging trends.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and provide evidence-based advocacy support for government relations strategy.
- Develop policy documents, briefings, and research for senior leaders.
- Buid relationships with government officials, peak bodies, and policy influencers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to shape policy positions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Relevant degree or extensive experience/expertise in tertiary education complex regulatory environments.
- Knowledge of Australian tertiary education sector policies and emerging trends.
- Proven ability to advise senior leaders and develop strategic relationships.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills.
