Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:

This position involves performing Quality Control Inspections and Level II NDT examinations in accordance with NAS 410. The role requires inspecting aircraft maintenance and alterations for quality and airworthiness, providing approval for return to service if authorized.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of work scope
  • Perform non-destructive testing following maintenance manuals and procedures
  • Verify technical data approved by regulatory bodies
  • Ensure all documents and records meet regulatory standards
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • NDT technical courses or documented Military experience in Ultrasonic Testing, Eddy Current, or Penetrant methods preferred
  • FAA A&P Certificate or FAA Repairman Certificate under FAR Part 65 required
