About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team at Conexson, a leading specialist Disability & Aged Care staffing agency. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities in the Lismore and Ballina areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide in-home personal care and daily living assistance, including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry, and ironing.
  • Implement care plans in accordance with individualized needs and preferences.
  • Assist with manual handling and hoist procedures.
What We Offer
  • A variety of shift options to suit your availability, including days, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and active sleepover shifts.
  • 20 to 40+ hours per week, with a weekly salary ranging from $800 to $2,000 per week.
  • Competitive hourly rates, including $30+ per hour for weekdays, $40.41 per hour for Saturdays, $51.95 per hour for Sundays, and $63.50 per hour for public holidays.

Requirements
  • Blue Card preferred.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check or Yellow Card.
  • Cert 3 in Individual Support or equivalent.
  • Own transport and driver's license.
  • Fully Covid vaccinated as per QLD Government Health Regulations.
  • Valid rights to work in Australia (passport/birth certificate, etc.).
