Our organization is seeking a dedicated and experienced Mental Health Specialist to provide high-quality psychological interventions and clinical assessments to young people with low-moderate mental health concerns.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans for clients based on their unique needs and circumstances
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop recommendations for appropriate care pathways in collaboration with the Clinical Lead and Centre Manager
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the delivery of early intervention youth mental health services
- Participate in regular case review meetings to ensure optimal care for all clients accessing the service
- Eligible professions include: Registered Psychologist; or Social Worker; or Mental Health Nurse; or Mental Health Occupational Therapist
- Hold a degree-level qualification in professional counselling or a social work or psychology discipline
- Have a minimum of 2 years' experience working as a qualified mental health professional
- Demonstrate expertise in Family Systems Theory, Trauma-Informed Care, and systemically informed care for young people and their families
- Possess a current, unrestricted 'C' class Australian Driver's Licence
- Hold the right to live and work in Australia
