About Our Role

We are seeking an accomplished Bulk Logistics Manager to lead our team in the strategic development and day-to-day operations of bulk logistics planning. As a key member of our organization, you will guide and mentor a team of 4, driving change and excellence in people and processes.

This role is based at our West Footscray site, where you will report directly to the AU Logistics Manager. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate execution of transport services across multiple business units, leading and developing the Bulk Logistics Planning Team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the Bulk Team to ensure clear and accurate information for the customer service team
  • Developing structured training methods and materials for the Customer Service team and Logistic Planning team members
  • Managing standard operating processes for transport planning and mentoring the team on understanding and adhering to these
  • Developing and managing weekly carrier meetings and broader strategic quarterly and yearly meetings, identifying areas for improvement and new opportunities
  • Serving as second-in-command for the Australian Logistics Manager role and providing leave cover
Your Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • 5+ years of experience in logistics and transport planning
  • A tertiary qualification in logistics/supply chain or related experience in a transport environment
  • Experience with multi-site coordination
  • Strong leadership skills and team management skills, conflict resolution skills, high-level organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • A successful track record in managing customer/supplier relationships, innovation, proactivity, and focus on solutions
