Main Responsibilities:
  • Operate A-Double Tanker combinations.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to guarantee vehicles are roadworthy and compliant with regulations.
  • Maintain timely and efficient pick-up and delivery of freight, adhering to schedules and meeting customer expectations.
  • Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation, upholding high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Comply with all relevant company policies and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
  • Adhere to load restraint guidelines to ensure freight is securely transported, minimizing the risk of damage or loss.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Possess a valid MC License with at least 2 years' recent Australian driving experience.
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of regional areas or interstate routes, facilitating efficient navigation and delivery.
  • Provide a full 5-year demerit point history report, showcasing commitment to safe driving practices.
  • Successfully complete Visy Practical Driver Assessment, demonstrating competence and proficiency.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, time management skills, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork, promoting a positive working environment.
  • Achieve a comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws, staying abreast of regulatory changes and updates.
  • OBTAIN BFM Certification, or be willing to pursue certification, demonstrating a proactive approach to professional development.
  • Take pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment, upholding high standards of quality and reliability.
