Research Governance and Integrity Officer Role

Our Institute promotes a positive research culture by ensuring effective research quality, governance, and integrity.

We are seeking a Research Governance and Integrity Officer to develop and deliver comprehensive research governance and integrity initiatives that foster a thriving research environment.

  • Develop and deliver educational programs on research governance and integrity principles
  • Coordinate research integrity investigations and provide advice to teams conducting reviews and approvals
  • Maintain up-to-date research integrity policies and communicate changes effectively
  • Proactively monitor research integrity across the Institute and coordinate proactive approaches to research conduct and governance
  • Provide research governance review and site authorization of all human research projects conducted at the Institute
  • Conduct post-authorization monitoring activities to ensure research is conducted in line with good clinical practice and regulatory standards
  • Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of a research governance quality management system
  • Develop research governance-related educational resources and provide advice on integrity, ethics, and governance processes
Requirements

Applicants should have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in research integrity, compliance, and policy or equivalent quality assurance or auditing experience in research ethics or governance
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of research integrity and human research ethics and governance, ideally in a medical research context
  • Experience in delivering education and training and working with researchers
  • Experience in conducting, managing, and monitoring human research, including clinical trials
